TOPAS Frequently Asked Questions
The Taylor's Online Programme Application System (TOPAS) is our propietary system that allows you to apply for a programme at Taylor's University or College online. We created this system to make applying to our institutions easy to complete, track and follow-up on, all at your convenience.
No, creating an account is free of any charges. You will only be required to pay an enrolment fee in order to complete your application.
Yes, you will need to pay an enrolment fee before you can submit your application to us. Some programmes and conditions will only require you to pay after submitting; we will notify you if that is the case.
Our system allows you to make payment for enrolment fees. For Malaysian students, this can be done via online banking facilities through the payment page. International students can make payment via Flywire, a global payment platform. And both Malaysian and international students can also uploading proof of payment via telegraphic transfer or other online transfer facilities. Once you have successfully applied, semester fees can be paid through the Taylor's Student Portal.
Yes, our online application is open to both Malaysian and international students wishing to apply to our institutions. If you need more information, you can contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org for Malaysian students, and email@example.com for international students.
You may apply by yourself by creating your own online account on TOPAS. If you need any assistance in your application, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org (Malaysianstudents) or email@example.com (international students) and we will be ready to help you out. You are also welcome to reach out to our appointed agents, regional offices and / or campus staff who will also be able to assist you with your application.
You can apply to most of our programmes within Taylor's College and Taylor's University with the exception of our ADP Summer Programmes and Global Mobility Programmes. A full list of all our programmes will be made available to you as you start your application within TOPAS.
The deadline for applications are within 2 weeks of a programme starting classes. You can find out more information about your particular programme's intake from our website, or by reaching out to us via website live chat, Facebook or Instagram messenger, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org (Malaysian) or email@example.com (international).
Information on fees and financial aid available for you can be found on our websites at university.taylors.edu.my and college.taylors.edu.my for both Taylor's University and Taylor's College. Our counsellors are also available to assist to inform you about any information you need on fees and financial aid via email, live chat or whatsapp.
Once you have submitted your application for the programme of your choice, our counsellors will check through your application and advise you on your application. You can also check your programme entry requirements under the programme pages on our website.
Kindly select the "Others" option within the Qualification sections. A box will pop-up and you can key in your qualifications there.
Once you have submitted your application, please allow for us to review your application within the next 48 hours. If there are no issues with your application, we will receive a notification and a Letter of Offer within TOPAS within 2-3 working days. Please note that some conditions such as credit transfer and programmes with assessments and interviews will require more time to process your application.

You should maintain one (1) account on TOPAS. However, if there are issues or errors in your account, you can create a new account on the TOPAS landing page with a new email account.
Yes, you can submit more than one application if you wish to. Please note that you will need to pay a separate enrolment fee each time you submit an application which is not refundable.
If you have filled up your form incorrectly before you submit, you can select the different sections on the form and edit the information there.
If you would like to change the details of your application after you have submitted, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com to help with your application details.
